On April 22, 2004, Microsoft Business Solutions, a business group of Microsoft Corp., acquired the public sector intellectual property assets of Encore Business Solutions Inc., a Winnipeg-based developer of software for fund accounting, fundraising, budget management, project tracking, recurring billing and cash management that seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Business Solutions products. The amount of the deal is undisclosed.
