National Bank of Canada completed the offering of eight million non-cumulative fixed rate first preferred shares series 15 for gross proceeds of $200 million on January 31, 2003. The offering was made through a short-form prospectus dated January 22. National Bank Financial Inc. led the underwriting syndicate, which included RBC Capital Markets Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., TD Securities Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Laurentian Bank Securities Inc., Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. and Trilon Securities Corporation.
