Denver-based Newmont Mining Corp. completed a US$1.1 billion cross-border offering of its common stock on November 12, 2003. The Canadian portion of the offering was completed using the north-bound multijurisdictional disclosure system.
The offering was led by JP Morgan and UBS Investment Bank as joint bookrunning underwriters. The co-manager group included Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., Citigroup, HSBC, National Bank Financial, RBC Capital Markets Inc., Scotia Capital Inc. and Griffiths McBurney & Partners Corp.
