The British Columbia Government recently concluded the Nisga’a Treaty negotiations with the tabling of both federal and provincial orders-in-council on May 11, 2000.
The Nisga’a were represented by Jim Aldridge and Marcus Bartley of Rosenbloom Aldridge, Bruce Campbell of Ratcliff & Co., and Margaret Vanderkruyk of Nelson Vanderkruyk. The Province was represented by a team of lawyers from the Vancouver office of Stikeman Elliott led by Bruce Woolley and Richard Jackson, together with lawyers from the Ministry of the Attorney General and Department of Justice. Stikeman Elliott also acted as Escrow Holder for all parties.
