On August 19, 2003, Ontario Municipal Economic Infrastructure Financing Authority(OMEIFA) approved the application of The Regional Municipality of Waterloo for temporary and long-term borrowing for its purposes and for the purposes of certain lower-tier municiplaties that form part of the municipality in the total principal amount of $38,521,300.
