On March 30, 2004, OMERS closed a US$50 million investment in Friedman Fleischer & Lowe Capital Partners II, LP. FF&L is a San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on investing in US middle-market companies. The Fund raised approximately US$600 million in its first closing on March 30, and will accept up to an additional US$150 million at subsequent closings. The fund held its final closing on June 3, 2004 with aggregate capital commitments from Limited Partners of $750 million.
