On May 1, 2007, Onex Healthcare Holdings, Inc., an acquisition vehicle organized by Onex Corporation, completed the $2.6 billion acquisition of Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group. The acquired business is continuing under the name Carestream Health, Inc.

Onex is one of Canada's largest companies with global operations in service, manufacturing and technology industries with annual consolidated revenues of approximately $26 billion and consolidated assets of approximately $26 billion. Carestream Health, Inc. provides medical and dental imaging systems and information technology solutions; molecular imaging systems; and non-destructive testing products to a broad base of customers around the world.
