The province of Ontario completed a US$250 million global offering of 5.5 per cent bonds due October 1, 2008 listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The bonds form part of a series, which, after this issuance, will total US$1.75 billion. The transaction was completed on October 19, 2001.
