On March 6, 2003, Placer Dome Inc. completed an offering of US$200 million 6.375 per cent debentures due 2033 by way of private placement. Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, CIBC World Markets Inc., Scotia Capital and HSBC Securities acted as joint book-running managers, and Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas acted as trustee.
