On April 20, 2009, Power Corporation of Canada issued $250 million principal amount of 7.57 per cent debentures due April 22, 2019 and $150 million principal amount of 8.57 per cent debentures due April 22, 2039 for gross proceeds of $400 million pursuant to a prospectus supplement to its base shelf prospectus. The offering was made through a syndicate of agents co-led by BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc., that also included RBC Dominion Securities Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., TD Securities Inc. and Casgrain & Company Limited.
