On November 1, 2002, Irvine, California-based Quest Software, Inc., a leading provider of application management solutions, acquired all the outstanding securities of Toronto-based Sitraka Inc. Sitraka is a privately-held company that provides application-server performance management. The purchase price was approximately US$55 million in cash.
The Quest team was co-ordinated by Juli Ackerman, vice-president, business development, and by J. Michael Vaughn, in-house counsel.
