On March 14, 2001, ReQuest Seismic Surveys Ltd., the Canadian owner, manager and broker of oil and gas industry seismic information, was successfully reorganized into an income trust structure—the first time an oil and gas industry service company has done so. ReQuest Income Trust has also entered into a management and advisory services agreement with ReQuest Management Inc., a sole purpose company whose shareholders represent some of Canada’s most experienced income trust managers. The deal is worth $62 million.
