On June 7, 2004, Roper Industries, Inc. acquired the assets of the power generation business of R/D Tech Inc. (and its subsidiaries) in Quebec City, for a total purchase price of approximately $52 million. The power generation business designs and manufactures nondestructive evaluation systems for power generation applications. It will be combined with the operations of Roper’s subsidiary, Zetec, Inc., a leading full-solution provider of testing solutions for utility market applications.
