On May 10, 2000, Richmond, BC-based Sierra Wireless, Inc. (Sierra), a leading provider of wireless data modems, completed a US$108 million cross-border public offering and concurrent listing on the Nasdaq National Market. The common shares were offered in Canada and in the U.S. by a syndicate of underwriters led by Lehman Brothers Inc., Merrill Lynch Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc.
