In the safeguard inquiry into the impact of steel imports on the Canadian steel industry, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal determined on July 4, 2002 that imports of discrete plate, cold-rolled steel, angle, shapes and sections, rebar and standard pipe are causing serious injury to Canadian steel producers.
