Stelco Inc. and EDS Canada Inc. entered into a 10-year information technology services agreement on February 25, 2002, for an undisclosed amount. Under the terms of this agreement, Stelco will outsource to EDS IT support and development services for most of Stelco’s locations across the country. In addition, EDS will implement new enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for Stelco’s order flow, maintenance, procurement, human resources and finance functions. The agreement was effective April 1, 2002.
