Stewart Enterprises, Inc., the third-largest provider of funeral homes and related services in the U.S., agreed to sell all its operations to Quebec-based Celebris Memorial Services, Inc. The sale, which closed on July 31, 2002, was structured as a share for cash transaction and the purchase price is confidential.
