On January 30, 2008, Sun Life Financial Inc., a leading international financial services organization with total group assets under management of $427 billion, completed a public offering of $400,000,000 principal amount of subordinated unsecured 5.59 per cent fixed/floating debentures due 2023. The offering was co-led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. and the agency syndicate included CIBC World Markets, HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., and TD Securities Inc.
