TD North America Issues Notes

On October 9, 2003, the Toronto-Dominion Bank’s indirect, wholly owned subsidiary, TD North America LP, issued US$2.3 billion floating rate notes due on October 15, 2008. The notes were guaranteed by the Toronto-Dominion Bank, and were sold to institutional investors in Europe and elsewhere.
