On December 19, 2002, The Bank of Nova Scotia provided credit lines totalling $85 million to InterTAN, Canada Ltd., a consumer electronics retailer of both private label and internationally branded products. InterTAN, Inc., headquartered in Barrie, Ontario, operates through approximately 970 company retail stores and dealer outlets in Canada under the trade name RadioShack, Rogers AT&T Wireless Communications Express and BatteryPlus.
