On July 25, 2001, Ballard Power Systems Inc., Shell Hydrogen and Westcoast Energy Inc. announced the creation of Chrysalix Energy Limited Partnership, a new Vancouver-based private capital joint venture, focused on promoting early-stage companies in fuel cells and related systems, hydrogen infrastructure and maintenance and support techniques. The amount of the creation is undisclosed.
