On December 16, 2009, The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) completed an offering of Series A Senior Unsecured Debentures due December 16, 2049 in the aggregate principal amount of $200 million. The offering was made by way of a private placement and the proceeds of the offering will be used to finance SickKids' proposed research tower and for general purposes.
The debentures were sold through a syndicate of agents co-led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and TD Securities Inc. that included CIBC World Markets Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc.
