Tm BioScience Corp., a DNA-based diagnostics company and developer, manufacturer and supplier of genetic diagnostics, completed a private placement financing on June 26, 2003, for total gross proceeds of $5.1 million. The offering consisted of the sale of 23,175,200 units, each unit consisting of one common share and one half of one common share purchase warrant. Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon Limited and Harris Partners Limited acted as co-agents for the financing. Net proceeds of the offering will be used by Tm BioScience to further develop and commercialize its genetic test products.
