On July 31, 2002, Quebec-based TransForce Inc., one of Canada’s largest transportation and logistics companies, acquired Canpar Transport Ltd., one of Canada’s largest small parcel delivery companies. TransForce acquired all the issued and outstanding shares of Canpar for $39 million.
