WestJet Airlines Ltd. completed a $150 million offering of common shares on October 15, 2003. Pursuant to a short form prospectus dated October 7, WestJet issued 6.186 million common shares through a syndicate of underwriters led by CIBC World Markets Inc. Proceeds of the offering will be used for the acquisition of additional aircraft, spare parts, winglets, the installation of in-flight television service, pre-delivery payments on new aircraft, and for general working capital purposes.
