On August 25, 2003, Vancouver-based Wheaton River Minerals Ltd. completed a public offering of 47,619,049 units for gross proceeds of $100 million. The offering was made through a syndicate of underwriters led by Griffiths McBurney & Partners, and including BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Canaccord Capital Corporation, Orion Securities Inc. and Sprott Securities Inc.
