On April 14, 2005, Yahoo! Inc. acquired Vancouver-based Ludicorp Research & Development Ltd. Ludicorp is the creator of the Flickr online photo management and sharing application, which permits users to upload and share personalized photo collections on the Internet. The amount of the transaction is undisclosed.
Yahoo! was represented by Steve Tonsfeldt, Matt Gosling and Amar Murugan of Heller Ehrman LLP’s Menlo Park office.
