Alain advises leading Canadian companies on corporate matters, as well as on commercial real estate, banking, capital markets and financial service transactions. He is an expert in structured finance and private international law and regularly advises financial institutions and borrowers on their important transactions. He works with clients across a broad range of industries, including telecommunications, mining, energy and real estate. A frequent writer and speaker on issues related to secured lending and securitization, Alain is the author of two publications: “Les sûretés réelles, en pratique, au premier anniversaire du Code civil du Québec” in Le nouveau Code civil du Québec: un bilan (1995) and “La titrisation des créances” in Le droit bancaire (Service de formation Yvon Blais, November 30, 1995).
