Ken Crofoot is general counsel of Goodmans and as such is involved in all aspects of professionalism involving the firm including insurance, risk management, conflicts and ethics. He is also a partner in the Litigation and Construction groups. Ken is recognized as a leading construction lawyer by The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada. He has been involved as counsel in a number of arbitrations and mediations, including commercial, joint venture, partnership and construction project disputes, insurance loss determinations and bankruptcy claim valuations. He completed the training in negotiation and mediation at the Program of Instruction for Lawyers at Harvard Law School and is available to act as a fully qualified mediator. He has written numerous articles and has spoken widely at continuing legal education seminars on aspects of construction law and practice. He is a Fellow and currently Vice-President (and will be President in June 2019 until June 2020) of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1984.
