Julie Soloway is a partner and Co-Chair of the Blakes Competition, Antitrust and Foreign Investment Group. Julie is at the forefront of the most complex and high-profile Canadian and cross-border merger transactions. Julie also has special expertise in the Investment Canada Act and has been successful in securing approvals for foreign investors in Canada’s key industries. Julie is ranked in all leading directories as one of Canada’s top competition lawyers. Canadian Lawyer Magazine previously named Julie as one of Canada’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers, and Global Competition Review consistently recognizes her as one of the world’s top 100 Women in Antitrust.
