He represents clients in obtaining revenue requirement and other tariff-related approvals for utilities, including under performance based regulation. Clients also appreciate Jonathan’s depth of experience in obtaining regulatory, environmental and land use planning approvals for electricity generating and transmission facilities, oil & gas production, processing and pipeline facilities, LNG facilities and oil sands projects. Jonathan has worked on numerous projects requiring federal and provincial environmental assessments and wide-ranging public and First Nations consultation, and has represented energy and utility clients in disputes involving other industry participants.
