A partner and board member at Cain Lamarre, Louis Ste-Marie has been practising labour and employment law for over 30 years. He advises employers on various issues, including collective and individual labour relations, labour standards, workplace accidents, occupational diseases, occupational health and safety, human rights, and administrative law. He regularly represents clients before labour administrative tribunals and civil courts. In recent years, Mr. Ste-Marie has served as the lead negotiator for major organisations in collective bargaining and mediation/conciliation processes. Throughout his career, Mr. Ste-Marie has taught labour law, workplace accident law, occupational disease law, and negotiation techniques at the École du Barreau du Québec for over ten years. He has also taught occupational health and safety law at the Université Laval Faculty of Law.
