Cameron (Cam) Mingay is a partner who practises in the areas of securities, mining and corporate commercial law with an emphasis on public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. Recently, Cam has been involved in advising companies in the cannabis sector regarding going public particularly US companies wishing to access the Canadian capital markets. He has extensive experience representing companies and investment dealers in all manner of public and private corporate finance transactions. Cam acts as lead counsel for a number of public clients and serves as counsel to a number of investment dealers on corporate finance matters. He frequently acts as lead counsel for cross-border transactions. Cam has served as a Director for a number of companies listed on the TSX, NYSE, NASDAQ and AIM, and as a Director of the Canadian Paraplegic Association (Ontario). He is also recognized as a leading lawyer by Best Lawyers and was awarded the 2011 Lexpert Zenith Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in recognition of his work with, and donations to, the Omatjete Primary School Project in Namibia. Cam was called to the Ontario Bar in 1982.
