Jonathan Dye is a partner at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP. He primarily litigates and advises clients on a range of issues such as wrongful dismissals, workplace human rights, employment standards, recruitment and dismissals, employment contracts, and employment issues in corporate transactions. He has appeared as lead counsel in cases before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and Divisional Court, as well as the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. Jonathan served for several years on the executive of the Labour and Employment Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association, including as Chair of the Section in 2008–2010, and is a Fellow of the Centre for International Legal Studies, based in Salzburg, Austria. An accomplished speaker, Jonathan has chaired and lectured at a variety of employment law and workplace human rights conferences directed both to businesses and fellow lawyers. He has been a guest instructor at the Schulich School of Business and the Ted Rogers School of Management, and has been repeatedly quoted in The Globe and Mail's Report on Business, The Financial Post, Canadian Business Magazine, Business Insurance and other news publications.
