Practice focuses on complex business law litigation, including cross-border, corporate-commercial, director and officer liability, corruption and fraud, competition, pensions, employment, and internal investigations. Represents public and private companies in a wide range of industries, including securities and financial services, resources and energy, insurance, manufacturing, technology, and entertainment. Emphasis on insolvency and restructuring related litigation and has acted for court-appointed officers, debtors and creditors in proceedings involving Nortel, Target, Arc Productions, Urbancorp, Frontera Copper, SemCanada, Allen-Vanguard, Muscletech, insurance companies, securities firms, and credit unions (including PCCU (the largest credit union collapse in Ontario). Former adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law for the University of Western Ontario, where he taught Complex Business Litigation and Civil Procedure to senior law students.
