Paul has over 20 years of experience practising in the fields of IT procurement and outsourcing, life sciences collaborations, cloud computing, technology licensing, channel distribution, privacy law and data security, e-commerce, antispam and anti-spyware (CASL) compliance, and commercial contracts. Paul has extensive experience in the life sciences, information technology, telecommunications, financial services, and health industries, as well as in infrastructure and facilities projects, both for private and public sector clients. In serving clients, Paul puts to use strong transactional legal skills, including client service, negotiation, drafting complex agreements, project management and problem solving. Paul is on the organizing committee of the Vancouver chapter of the Licensing Executives Society (LES). He is a member of the Business Law, Computer Law and Freedom of Information and Privacy Law Sections of the Canadian Bar Association, and is a frequent presenter on a variety of technology law topics.
