Darryl Brown is a partner working in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office. His practice is concentrated in infrastructure, construction law, and real estate with expertise in the drafting and negotiation of project agreements, construction, and facility management contracts; the preparation of tender and bid materials; the acquisition, sale, and development of commercial properties; real estate financing and leasing. On behalf of clients such as government agencies, developers, equity providers, construction companies, subcontractors, and operators, Darryl has acted as counsel in respect of various Canadian and US P3 projects, including the construction of LRTs, roads, bridges, detention centres, hospitals, schools, courthouses, central utility plants, and cultural centres. Darryl is also active in dispute resolution relating to P3 projects including the development of strategies for defending and pursuing P3 claims.
