Ian Hull is the co-founding partner (with his father Rodney Hull, KC) of Hull & Hull LLP. He is a Certified Specialist in Estate and Trust Law and Civil Litigation and also maintains a mediation practice through Hull Estate Mediation Inc. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1990. Ian is the co-author of Probate Practice (4th, 5th and 6th edition) (Carswell), author of Power of Attorney Litigation, (1st and 2nd edition) (CCH) and Challenging the Validity of Wills (1st and 2nd edition) (Carswell); author of Advising Families on Succession Planning: The High Price of Not Talking (LexisNexis) and co-editor of Feeney’s Canadian Law of Wills (4th edition) (LexisNexis). Ian is a member of Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates’ Society; former member of the Executive of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Ontario Bar Association, Toronto Lawyers Association, Halton County Law Association, Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP); Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC); Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers; and Fellow of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
