Mr. Caron is a founding partner of LCM Attorneys Inc., its first managing partner and Chairman of the Board. He focuses his practice on litigation, commercial and security law and arbitration. He is involved in several significant class actions and has extensive experience in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution and regularly acts on behalf of large issuers and financial institutions, including securities brokers and advisors, whom he counsels on the drafting and implementing compliance policies and represents before the civil and regulatory tribunals. Mr. Caron was awarded the Quebec Bar’s honorary title of Advocatus Emeritus. His expertise has been recognized by Chambers (since 2020), Benchmark Canada (since 2013), Best Lawyers of Canada (since 2023) and Lexpert directories. He is involved in the community, often invited to speak, teach, and participates in several philanthropic activities. He is the Vice-president of the Quebec Advisory Committee of the Advocates’ Society and a member of the Board of the Foundation of the Palliative Home-Care Society of Greater Montreal. He served on the boards of the International Bureau of Children’s Rights and of Lawyers Without Borders. He is a former Chair of the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Branch Class Actions Section.
