Elisabeth Symons helps public and private sector organizations to understand the legal issues that they face relating to technology and address them in creative and practical ways that help them to meet their objectives. She assists clients with: (i) a wide variety of technology agreements; (ii) procurement of technology; (iii) issues relating to distressed technology projects; and (iv) Internet issues. Elisabeth is a Vice Chair of the Interactive Entertainment and Media Section of the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw Association), a former Vice President of the Canadian Technology Law Association (CAN-TECH Law) and a Past Chair of the Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association. She is the co-author of chapters in Electronic Commerce – A Practitioner’s Guide (Carswell) and Business Laws of Canada (West).
