Charles Morgan is the national co-leader of McCarthy Tétrault’s top ranked Information Technology Law Group and co-leader of the Firm’s national Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Management Group. His practice focuses on assisting clients with complex transactions in the areas of outsourcing; systems integration; cloud; fintech; licensing; e-commerce; cybersecurity, privacy and data management; data monetization and telecommunications. Mr. Morgan represents financial institutions, aeronautics, media, communications, software, hardware and other technology companies and retailers with a variety of complex commercial transactions. He has extensive international experience, particularly in telecommunications. Co-author of several books, including E-Mail Law (LexisNexis Canada – IT Law series, 2008) and Halsbury’s Laws of Canada – Communications (LexisNexis Canada, 2014). He is a member of the in-coming President of the International Technology Law Association and a member of the AMF’s Technological Innovation Advisory Committee. Admitted to the Québec Bar in 1998.
