He regularly advises US, UK, Chinese, and other offshore clients in connection with establishing business operations in British Columbia. He also advises on and negotiates labour and employment issues in corporate mergers, acquisitions, and outsourcing. He provides strategic, day-to-day operational advice concerning labour relations, employment, human rights, health & safety, privacy, and immigration matters. He regularly represents management in collective bargaining, negotiations, investigations, mediations, arbitrations, administrative hearings, and in court. He frequently assists organizations with managing workplace crises and conflicts, harassment and discrimination matters, the duty to accommodate, investigations and discipline, hiring and firing, workplace policies, employment standards, negotiating executive agreements, restrictive covenants, and obtaining work permits and permanent resident status for foreign workers. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2001 and has exclusively practised employer-side workplace law since.

On December 22, 2017, Sonicfield Global Ltd., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of CST Group Ltd., and Deloitte Restructuring Inc., in its capacity as court appointed receiver and manager of the assets, properties and undertakings of Grande Cache Coal LP, Grande Cache Coal Corp., Up Energy (Canada) Ltd. and 0925165 B.C. Ltd, entered into an asset purchase and sale agreement, pursuant to which Sonicfield agreed to purchase certain coal assets from the Receiver for aggregate consideration of approximately US$433.9 million.
