Recent representative transactions regarding the infrastructure asset class include acting for the public sector regarding the Advance Tunnel - Scarborough Subway Extension project, the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rail and Systems project, the Advance Tunnel - Yonge North Subway Extension project, the Hurontario Light Rail Transit project, the Highway 407 East Extension project (Phase 1 and Phase 2) and the CAMH Phase 1C Redevelopment project; acting for the private sector in connection with the request for proposals issued by The Niagara Parks Commission regarding a new visitor transportation system, and for OMERS Infrastructure Management Inc in its purchase from SNC-Lavalin Inc of a 10.01% equity interest in 407 International Inc. On March 15, 2017, the L.F. Wade International Airport Redevelopment Project in Bermuda achieved commercial and financial close. This project is being implemented under a framework agreement between the Government of Bermuda and the Canadian Commercial Corp. (CCC). Under the agreement, CCC will, through its subcontract with a subsidiary of Aecon Group, design and construct a new passenger terminal and related infrastructure under a fixed price, date-guaranteed design and construction contract valued at US$274 million.
