Practice focuses on local and cross-border financing, in the areas of project and infrastructure finance, public-private partnerships, acquisition financings, equipment finance and regulation of financial institutions. Recent project and project finance transactions include advising the lenders to the successful bidder for the Sorel-Tracy Detention Center Project (Best Social Infrastructure Project — 2015 P3 Awards); advising the promoters of a $725-million financing of a 270-MW wind farm project (North American Deal of the Year — Project Finance; American Renewables Deal of the Year — 2011 PFI Awards); advising the lenders to the successful bidder for the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) Project (2011 Lexpert®’s Top 10 Deals; Americas Bond Deal of the Year — 2011 PFI Awards); and advising the successful bidder for the McGill University Hospital Centre, Glen Campus Project (Project Finance International’s 2010 Award for Deal of the Year [Americas]; 2010 Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships’ Gold Award for Project Financing). Sits on the board of the Infrastructure Council. Admitted to the Québec Bar in 2003.
