Counsel in the Business Law Group in Vancouver. Practice involves a broad range of regulatory and commercial work for clients in the energy sector, including pipeline companies, distribution utilities, mid-stream service providers, LNG developers, power generators, equity investors, lenders, and industrial and other end-use customers. Has represented and advised applicants and interveners in numerous revenue requirements, toll design and tariff proceedings, and major project applications before the Canada Energy Regulator and the British Columbia Utilities Commission. Experienced in all aspects of the development and operation of energy projects, including advising on project ownership and financing structures, federal and provincial project approval and permitting processes, negotiating various project-related agreements, including project development agreements and energy supply and transmission contracts, and assisting with the preparation of project approval applications. Admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1984.
