Nicholas is a litigation partner in the McKercher LLP Regina office. His practice focuses on professional liability defence, commercial litigation, and aviation claims. He is qualified as a mediator pursuant to the guidelines set by the Law Society of Saskatchewan. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan. He is an instructor/evaluator at the CPLED Bar course and a presenter at various legal education seminars. He is Past President of the Canadian Bar Association – Saskatchewan Branch. In addition to his Leading Practitioner listings in The Canadian Legal LexpertDirectory, he has been recognized by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2024 for Medical Negligence, Personal Injury Litigation, and Professional Malpractice Law and by Chambers Canada for Commercial Litigation. Nicholas was called to the Bar in 2005 and received his King’s Counsel appointment in 2018.
