Bruce Chapple is a trusted business law advisor and partner at McMillan LLP. Since July, 2024, Bruce has also been the Managing Partner and CEO of the firm. In his practice, Bruce regularly leads multidisciplinary teams for private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and complex commercial matters in the Canadian market and Canadian issues associated with international transactions. His clients include domestic and international businesses. Bruce regularly works with public and private corporations, private equity funds, and other clients. He has experience across numerous key industries, including private equity, technology, pharmaceutical, health care, retail, financial, service industries, automotive, and insurance. Bruce held a number of internal leadership positions at McMillan before becoming Managing Partner including on the Firm’s Allocation Committee and Professional Services Committee, as well as positions as Chief Firm (Engagement) Partner, Chief Finance Partner and co-leader of the Firm’s Technology and Technology Transactions Group. Bruce is also a member of the Board of Directors of Alpine Canada which oversees Canada’s national ski, ski-cross and para-alpine teams and a former member and past chair of the Board of Governors of Royal St. Georges College.
