Patrice Beaudin is a partner of McMillan's financial services group. His practice is focused on corporate finance, including domestic and cross-border syndicated financings, securitizations, leases, and leasing. He routinely acts for both lenders and borrowers in a variety of debt financings. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2015 as a leader in banking and finance law and structured finance law. Recent transactions include (i) acting for a Quebec based publicly traded company and its subsidiaries with respect to aggregate banking facilities of US$1.2 billion to finance, inter alia, an acquisition of US$1.31 billion, and (ii) acting for a Quebec based privately owned concern in the metal recycling industry with respect to aggregate revolving facilities of $500 million (with an additional $200 million accordion feature) made available by a syndicate of 12 banks. Before practising as a lawyer, he practised as a chartered accountant.
