Kim Ozubko is an experienced lawyer with 20 years of expertise in all areas of pensions and employee benefits law. She provides specialized expertise and practical advice to employer plan sponsors and administrators, boards of directors and trustees and pension and compensation committees on all areas of pensions, benefits and other compensation arrangements. Her areas of expertise include: advising on plan design and administration, including compliance and regulatory issues, plan wind-ups and mergers and conversions; implementing effective employee communication strategies to reduce potential liability; advising on plan governance, fiduciary duties and funding issues; as well as dealing with pensions, benefits and compensation issues connected with corporate mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and insolvencies. Kim frequently writes and speaks in the areas of pensions and employee benefits law. She is a contributing author of the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest and has taught at the Osgoode Certificate in Pension Law Program and at Humber College, Centre for Employee Benefits.
