Vincent Bergeron specializes all intellectual property aspects of emerging technologies and IT. He advises clients on the protection and enforcement of IP assets in the fields of software, Open Source licenses, Internet of Things (IoT), wearables, virtual/mixed reality and artificial intelligence. He has published and presented more than 100 conferences and articles on emerging issues of IP and IT around the world, including for AIPF, IPIC, LESI, LES and CBA. Vincent Bergeron was recently awarded the Louis-Philippe Pigeon Award by the Québec Young Bar Association and the Raymond-Blais Medal by Laval University, as well as the title of Young Business Person of the Year in Québec City. He is involved in multiple organizations, including as Chair of the LES (USA & Canada) YMC Committee, as Vice-Chair of Communications for the Licensing Executives Society International’s YMC Committee and as President of the Information, Telecommunication and Intellectual Property Section of the Canadian Bar Association, Québec Division. Vincent Bergeron has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada 2019 in the category technology law. He is one of the cofounders and SM4 Ambassadors of the crowdfunding platform La Ruche, which contributes to the influence and vitality of different Québec regions.
